If you are looking for an exclusive venue where you are able to create and add your own personal touch, then this is the place for you!

We cater for all wedding sizes and have 2 ceremony options. Either on the mountain with stunning views over the property and beyond or our new Forest venue option which we are very excited about. Nothing beats a mystical forest wedding and the fact that you are able to design and decorate either venue to meet your exact taste enhances Sani Valley Nature Lodges as a wedding venue even further.

This includes……

  • VENUE CO-ORDINATOR - Someone who is on-site to help co-ordinate your special day & liaise between you & the venue operations team & co-ordinate any services that we offer.
  • CHAPEL/ CEREMONY FOREST WEDDING or MOUNTAIN TOP – a short drive on the farm will take you to one of two options either
    the forest venue or the lookout venue. Seating and an alter will be provided.
  • BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN VIEWS - of the Drakensberg, Lifton Lake, farm roads & horses are exclusively available to you and will make your photographs spectacular! Please enquire for a full list of photographers available.
  • GENERATOR – when Eskom is not available.
  • SETTING UP & CLEANING OF THE VENUE - We will do a standard set up on the day excluding the decorating & clean the venue for you the following day.
  • TABLES & LINEN - We will supply 1.6m diameter round tables (6–8-seater) for your guests, your bridal party, cake, DJ and gift tables with white tablecloths and white napkins.
  • CHAIRS – white Tiffany chairs will be supplied.
  • GLASSWARE – Elegant wine, champagne, beer, whiskey & gin glasses.
  • CUTLERY & CROCKERY – Elegant cutlery & white crockery
  • DANCEFLOOR – standard size 1.2m X 2.4m (if more than 64 guests in a marquee)
  • EASEL - A wooden easel will be supplied for your seating plan.
  • TABLE NUMBERS & STANDS - Basic stands with table numbers are supplied if needed.
  • BAR FACILITIES – Prices on Request. Ice included.
  • WAITRON SERVICE – Basic serving of food & clearing of tables.
  • BATHROOMS – There are 2 bathrooms on site.
  • PARKING There is ample free and secure parking.

What’s not included…… but can be arranged or recommended.

  • CATERING - A detailed list of caterers for you to choose from to ensure a perfect feast on your wedding day! This cost will depend on your menu choices.
  • DRAPING & LIGHTING – Including the set up thereof.
  • FLOWERS - Including the setup of the flowers at the ceremony & reception area.
  • PHOTOGRAPHER & VIDEOGRAPHER
  • WEDDING ATTIRE
  • MUSIC / DJ AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT
  • DÉCOR RECEPTION – Including the set up.
  • DÉCOR CEREMONY – Including the set up.
  • WEDDING CAKE
  • ACCOMMODATION - To ensure the privacy of your function & to allow you the freedom of choice, we require that all 11 lodges be occupied by your party. A separate quotation will be required for this depending on when your wedding takes place, whether it is in or out of our peak season.
  • ACCOMMODATION – We will be happy to help you arrange alternate accommodation for guests not staying with us, there are a few options close by within 5km.
  • PRIEST OR MINISTER
  • MUSICIAN – For your ceremony.
  • TABLE GIFTS
  • STATIONARY & PRINTING
  • DRINKS & BARMEN - Alcoholic or non-alcoholic.
  • SHUTTLE SERVICE – should you not want your guests to drive if they are not staying on the property.

Please note important information:

  • A 50% Deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • All prices include VAT at 15%
  • A provisional booking will be held for 2 weeks.
  • Full payment for your wedding & accommodation is due 4 Weeks prior to your arrival.
  • Service providers must be included in your guest numbers (minister, photographer, DJ, videographer)
  • We do not charge a forced gratuity.
