You may not be able to solve global warming single-handedly, but we believe you and us together can make a difference. This is our policy:
- Following the three R's
We endeavor to Reduce, Re-use and Recycle
- Reducing the carbon print
We use locally sourced goods and local producers, seasonal fruit and vegetables wherever possible
Our organic garden provides for guest and staff meals
- Sustainable energy
We use solar technology and fluorescent lighting where possible to reduce fuel usage
We encourage guests to fill the kettle with only as much water as they need in order to save energy
We encourage guests to switch off the lights, the heater and the jacuzzis when not needed
- Reducing Water consumption
We use our own natural spring and filtering system
- Reducing chemical usage
We urge guests to only ask for their towels to be washed if necessary, as we endeavor to reduce chemical usage
- Fishing for the future
We encourage guest to fish and release, or only keep the fish they want to eat that day
